The Arabian Night
One day the sun will rise and shine
And lights the fields of Palestine
One day the wound that we all had
Will heal by seeing the free Baghdad
One day the sky will send us rain
To wake us up and wash the stains
One day we all will have one stand
And then we'll strike them with one hand
One day we all from east to west
Will be one home, will be one nest
But how that day would truly come,
If we were muted, if were dumb
I'm here today to knock their doors
And ask the blind to stop their wars
Who dares today to shout at loud,
And shake the ground under this crowd?
Who dares today to stand with me,
And say that" NO, we don't agree"
Our prophet is higher than their pens
And what they sketched by the feet of hens
I don't know whom else we would weep
For as we sleep their cancers creep
