No matter how many smiles
you will always draw on your face
to mend the broken ties
and pretend to be one with grace

I will never forget


I admit I have not the skill nor the power
that make great poets speak
I neither have the magic of Roman and Greek
But I do have one goal to seek

to tell the world how with stony heart
you made black my shinning days
and filled them with hovering pains
and rivers of tears

to tell the sparkling stars in the gloomy sky
that it was you who stolen the slumber
from my long lonely nights

to tell dear happiness with a sad sigh
that it was you who took the joy
from all views and sights


So to you my word is said
I will forgive but I will never forget
